It's been almost 2 weeks since the last blog. Two Saturdays ago, on the 17th, I went to my cabin but almost as soon as I got there, the power was out from the grid. And I waited for hours (luckily it was afternoon and sunny) but it was still out. I decided to come back home. It didn't get restored until the next day! On the next Tuesday, I decided to start Latisse and I've been using it every day since. Look it up if you don't know what it is. (Hint: eyelashes) Then on Wednesday, went to San Jose to meet with a CIO from one of our customers. On Friday the 23rd, went out with Mike to Beretta -- modern Italian food and good! -- then we went to Este Noche. He had never been. Just hung out at Cafe Flore on Saturday a bit and then went to the cabin on Sunday the 25th. Tonight I moderated a panel at the Commonwealth Club on "LGBTQ Homeless Youth: Cause and Effect" with people from Larkin Street Youth Services including one of the homeless youths. A podcast will be available in a couple of days even though it was done in front of a live audience.

At the end of the last blog, I was still rebuilding my "life automation" server and I have still done work since then. Last Friday, went to dinner with John to Medjool in the Mission for some North African / Middle Eastern fusion food in a lively atmosphere! Later that night, went to Club Dragon. Then on Saturday went to Este Noche for some Latino cuisine. On Wednesday, yesterday, went to my office in San Jose and then later last night came back up to SF and went to see former Secretaries of State George Shultz (under Reagan) and Madeliene Albright (under Clinton) talk about the state of the world from their perspectives. Pretty good stuff.

Seriously stressful week since last blog! (With a little fun also.) Last Thursday to Friday, my main server running all my websites, home automation, life management system, died. I had a new server built to spec right away. Took my Saturday & Sunday and today just to get it sort of working. In between, on Friday Robert & I went to Tonga Room at the Fairmont, then to a speakeasy called Bourbon & Branch for a single malt Scotch and then Q bar. On Sunday, Al came over to hang out and we went to see a midnight movie, Twilight Eclipse. We were surprised how good it was epecially being it's the third sequel. On Monday and Tuesday went to my cabin. Read the book, the Introvert Advantage. It started out good.... More hanging out for the rest of the week. A 4-day weekend coming up sort of....
